In case you missed the last few events where you get to dress up, (or down), someplace in Portland, here's one for all you Pirates out there. ('Cause Ninjas 
suck anyways). The Portland Pirate Festival comes around but once a year, and is the perfect place to let your inner pirate out into the sunlight for a couple days. There'll be plenty of grub and grog vendors to choose from, and live music, entertainment acts, cannon shows, sword fights, inflatable rides, historical enactments, as well as games and other activities. Dressing up in your favorite pirate garb is encouraged, so feel free to go all out.
In fact, an attempt to break the Guiness World Record for “The Most Pirates Gathered in one Place” will be held on the 20th.

Portland Pirate Festival Hours:
Saturday, September 19th, 10AM-10PM (Rides close at 8 PM)
Sunday, September 20th, 10AM-6PM
Tickets:
Adults (13 plus): $12 advance / $15 gate
Youths (3 to 12): $6 advance / $8 gate
Children under 2: FREE!
