Nathalie & Meagan Take Bumbershoot | Day One

Well, kids – after a long and arduous train journey filled with grouchy old people and screaming children we arrived in Seattle. Friday night is a moot point because we spent it with Meagan's cousins and frankly, we drank a lot. Meagan did some very fancy footwork at a club and seems to have broken her knee. She's convinced of it. (Update: Friday was actually really rad and we want you all to know we met someone famous. Pictures & info on Friday night will come with big Monday night wrap-up!)

That is neither here nor there. Apologies.

Our first sight upon entering the expansive Seattle Center was our good friends Locket2You, the purveyors of handmade delights. We immediately stopped into the press room to pick up our day's credentials and let us just say that the 'catered treats' was a term used loosely. Meagan's fantasies were ruined when we realized nobody was smoking and people were using laptops instead of old-timey typewriters. After Nathalie stole Meagan an apple juice, we were on our way.

Katy Perry's show at the Samsung Mobile Main stage was caling our name. The crowd (mostly scantily clad high schoolers and their confused mothers) were prepped for Katy's whimsical performance surrounded by fake flamingos and a giant blow-up strawberry.
