TBA | Maybe Forever | September 4 &5

The pain. The agony. Oh wait… they're dancing.

Maybe Forever is the collaborative piece in which choreographers Meg Stuart (Forgeries, Love, and Other Matters , 2008 recipient of the Flemish Culture Award 2008, an artist in residence at the Kaaitheater, the Schauspielhaus Zurich, and the Volksbuhne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz) and Philipp Gehmacher (who leads the Mumbling Fish company in Vienna and who has made a name for himself internationally as a masterful dancer and radical choreographer, is among those few, as is evident in all his works, including "mountains are mountains" and "incubator".) let their artistic worlds bleed into one another amidst the melancholy melodies of Brussels-based singer-songwriter Niko Hafkenscheid . The Maybe Forever showcases the demise of a relationship while aiming to portray humans' struggle with loneliness, our struggles with one another, loss, longing, and "the place in between dreams and wishes, mourning and meeting."
