I have been learning to play the Violin and have always dreamed of playing with an orchestra. I have no extra cash so have been trying to decide if I could pinch the 10 out of my budget. I would love to check this out!

Hilarious! My dad was totally into the Spaghetti Westerns. He went so far as to purchase a soundtrack of all the original scores. On vinyl. Which, along with an onion on your belt, was the style at the time. He also had an album of what I call Marboro Music: original recordings of music from Marboro commercials. It’s one of the best tapes I ever made. One side Spaghetti Western, one side Marlboro music. I should prolly transfer it to CD one of these days. Richards and Dorsey didn’t write the score for any of the original Spaghetti Westerns, so the audience surrounding me, should I acquire tickets, would be spared my humming along as I won’t know the music. Yet.

After helping a friend shovel dirt and complete the 2nd phase of their garden, I think I will be facing a well deserved break.
Having never seen a film with live orchestral accompaniment, I would relish the opportunity. Thanks for the giveaway.

I own the DVD of this classic film, but as you may know it looks like a 19th generation VHS pan and scan transfer.
I love the movie and rank it on par with Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns. I like how Quentin Tarantino used the Ennio Morricone music and the flashback eye shots from this film in Kill Bill. I always hoped that a sweet Portland movie house would obtain a good print and show it. But with a live chorus and orchestra performing new soundtrack music live!?!? THIS will be amazing!

Since my husband grew up in the region of where many western stories come from,and loves westerns, I know how much this would mean to him to go and see this movie. On another note, now that our son is working on the weekends, my husband and I actually get to have some time to where we can go and see a movie just the two of us.
