Fall of the House: Back to blow your mind June 4th!
On June 4th, after a torturous absence, Portland will be reunited with its favorite improvisational sketch comedy show, Fall of the House.
I was initially exposed to Fall of the House last 'season' (which took place in February) and I fell in love with the characters and the stories. In just one season, relationships blossomed, shifted and died – and we watched them all. I might have even cried a little. Don't tell anyone.
As explained in an earlier Pipeline post about FOH (that's just a little nickname I came up with), the plot is written, but the actors improvise the manner in which the audience travels from point A to point B with the cast.
The cast is quick, funny, highly sensual, and they effortlessly suck the audience in. The show is easily accessible to those of us who may not be into the Portland theater scene, which I definitely am not.
