First Friday: Chris Haberman Art Show @ Launch Pad | April 3

There are many fine events tonight, and but this is a top pick for art-lovers. Chris Haberman is one of Portland's most interesting artists and this show is sure to pull out a lot of great people. Plus, I don't think he has ever done a recreation show like this.

Dear Special Art Friend:

Please join me at Launchpad Gallery this Friday, April 3rd – 6pm – MIDNIGHT.  This is my first show at this regional gallery, which I have been a patron and friend of since its early beginnings.  Curator Ben Pink and I recently ran the Portland LOVE Show together, so this show is very special to me.

PEOPLE WILL TALK is a series of paintings of my interpretations of photographer Mark Wickum's personal and candid works. Read the rest of this entry »
