2009 NCAA Tournament in Portland | Portland State in Boise
March 16, 2009 — PDXPIPELINEPortland is again a host for the the first two rounds of the NCAAÂ tournament. Below is a printable bracket from collegehoops.net. Last year, Senator Obama picked Mississippi State over the Oregon Ducks (turned out to be correct) and Kansas over Portland State (obviously correct) the day before he visited Portland & Eugene–bold move. I wonder if he is picking our PSU Viks (not Vikes!) this year over Xaxier. They are no Kansas 2008.
UPDATE: Obama picks Xavier over Portland State (how dare you!).
In games taking place in Portland, Obama picks Washington over Mississippi State (picked MSU over over Oregon last year…hmmm) St & Purdue over N. Iowa (of course.)

The Ducks took a nose dive this year. In Oregon, only Portland State represent-zent-ZENTS this year.
