Cinema 21 hosts the 12th annual Portland Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (in partnership with Film Action Oregon) starting this weekend and running through September 27. On Friday, there will be an Opening Night Gala at the Chesterfield. Here is a description of the festival and details of Friday's Gala:
The Portland Lesbian & Gay Film Festival is a non-profit arts group that annually showcases feature, documentary and short films from all over the world that are made by, about or of interest to the lesbian, gay, bi and trans community.

Breakfast With Scot 7:30 P.M.
Opening Night Gala at Chesterfield 9:30 P.M.
After the screening, join us for 12th Anniversary Opening Night Gala at the super chic Chesterfield sponsored by Icebreaker. There will be free appetizers and drinks provided by New Deal Vodka. A no host full bar with wine and beer is also available. Music will be provided by DJ A Diva. Platinum passholders will enjoy VIP treatment in the private lounge upstairs.
