Feb 21: Mingle with 100+ Other Portlanders @ Touche | Meetin Portland
February 21, 2008 — Julian ChadwickI just took a look over at the Meetin Portland (MiPL) site, and it appears tonight is the monthly “Mingler”. Ninety people have RSVPed to be there and 1300 have viewed the event. I've been to several Meetin Portland events over the years and met some good people through them. Go check out other events at MeetIn.org and Touche tonight to mingle with a lot of people.
Also, there is a pre-mingler for new people starting at 6:30
Every month MiPL has a “Mingler” evening which is just for hanging out at a bar, meeting new members and other MiPL friends. This is very relaxed, friendly and informal. So just come along for a drink or few and meet new people — because this is what it's all about!
This month, we will be mingling at Touche. Housed in a 1913 firehouse, Touche's menu features Mediterranean cuisine. Look for us in the upstairs bar. We will be at the tables toward the back.
Touche has several pool tables that rent for $12/hour. If you want to play, get on the list early.

Incidentally, admittedly “Mingler” may sound a bit like it's a singles' mixer — but it most assuredly is not! This and all other events are for meeting people and making friends, so whether you're single, coupled, or married, you're very, very welcome.
