It is amazing that you would go straight from gay marriage to "marry your sibling, your parent, your German shepard, a three year old, or a dead body". Are you kidding? This shows exactly where you are coming from. I don't care if the people of the state voted it down. It is still intolerant and stupid. There are so many ridiculous "straight" marriages out there and they are all fine apparently. If the people of the state voted for segregation, slavery, religious intolerance (as states have done), I hope the courts would strike that crap down. Run-around it, they should. But, for you, who seems to equate two loving people getting married who are of the same sex with incest, pedophilia, bestiality, and necrophilia--I'm sure you'd rather have intolerance. Anyone may marry any other person, that will have them, as long as they are of different sex. You may not marry your sibling, your parent, your German shepard, a three year old, or a dead body. The good people of Oregon, and every state where they have had the opportunity to vote, have decided that same sex marriage is unacceptable. The efforts of the legislature to end run this decision are despicable, and not in keeping with the laws allowing direct vote. We are not Massachusetts or Vermont, where the unelected courts decide our marriage laws. There is no one denied equal rights in Oregon.
